Volunteers from Come Alive at 55 helped transform a derelict Victorian kitchen garden into a working example of historic techniques and food varieties.

One of the South Coast’s principal art galleries, Pallant House at Chichester has seen attendances increase significantly since work was completed on a new wing in 2006.

Broxbourne Borough Council, with assistance from a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant, has restored Cedars Park in Cheshunt. It has also succeeded in revealing more of its history for visitors to enjoy.

A 350-year-old community celebration was documented in full detail to provide a greater understanding of the event’s history, and preserve the tradition for future generations.
