Newham Music Trust will create a music programme to help Newham’s schools explore the positive impact London 2012 had on the area.

This cultural heritage project explored how some people from LGBTQ+ communities have historically used clothing to express identity. It focused on Sussex in the time period 1917-2017.

New partnerships have helped the Herefordshire church repair its tower, bolster local wildlife and share its heritage with more people.

Young people at risk of exclusion showcased new talents, taking inspiration from museum collections in Oxford.

A £34,000 grant to examine Richard Burton’s diaries helped young people in Port Talbot discover pride in Wales, in their town and in themselves.

The Crime and Punishment project used digital storytelling to explore the heritage of the criminal justice system with young people whose lives were affected by offending.

They developed a range of accredited skills and created a performance and exhibition.

Young people from inner city Sheffield explored their local natural heritage and produced a photography exhibition for the wider community.

The Canal & River Trust’s Waterways Heritage Skills Project created a pool of committed and skilled young people in waterway heritage skills, filling skills gaps within the Trust’s own workforce and the wider heritage sector.

Thanks to a heritage grant, the Garden Museum supported a number of innovative traineeships designed to boost sector skills.

LGBT Foundation recorded the memories of people involved in and affected by safer sex campaigns from the 1980s to the present day.

The programme has protected and restored some of the Forest of Dean’s most at-risk natural, built and cultural heritage and connected the community with its forest.
