Heritage Grants
During this three-year project the Green Light Trust worked with young people and adults who were not in employment, education or training and people facing mental health or wellbeing issues. The participants learned traditional woodland skills and practical conservation management techniques.
Thank you for a lovely two years at the Green Light Trust. You have taught me so many new skills and really boosted my confidence.

A range of woodland management programmes and coppicing were utilised alongside deer mitigation measures to encourage the regeneration of orchids, oxlips and wood anemone. The heritage story of this site was revealed through educational programmes, an informal heritage walking trail and leisure walks for drop-in visitors.
