The project created new visitor information about the history and structure of the Mill, and its relationship with Exeter and the surrounding countryside.New information material is now housed in the reception area and the exterior of the building.

The project also included an oral history project, which encouraged people to share their memories of the Mill. It also included work with local children to produce wildlife images, to be cast in stone and mounted as a tactile display.

These materials will contribute to the sustainability of the building by attracting new visitors and increasing public awareness of the Mill itself and activities run by the DWT.
