Committee Member for the North West
Aileen McEvoy comes with over 30 years’ experience in contemporary art forms and museums and heritage with specific expertise in contemporary visual culture and in community development through the arts and heritage.
Aileen is actively involved in a range of arts and heritage initiatives following 15 years of senior level experience with Arts Council England in the north west including as Regional Director (2008-2010).
Aileen has substantial experience in strategic planning, policy development, advocacy and partnership building in the cultural and local authority sectors. Aileen is Associate Director of the Lakes International Comic Art Festival and curator of the outdoor arts Lakes Ignite programme for 2018.
