Free offers for National Lottery players at 400 heritage attractions: search our map

Did you know that without National Lottery players, the £7.8billion of funding awarded to more than 42,000 heritage projects over the last 23 years just wouldn’t have been possible?
This Christmas, hundreds of our grant recipients are saying 'thank you' for their National Lottery funding by offering everything from free entry and free hot beverages, to free guided tours and gift shop discounts.
Participating organisations and their offers include:
- free entry to 100 National Trust sites in England, Wales and Northern Ireland on Wednesday 13 December;
- free entry to the Roman Baths, Bath, on Wednesday 13 December;
- free entry to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for the whole week (11-17 December);
- a free tree giveaway at the Woodland Trust’s Skipton Woods Christmas Fayre in the Yorkshire Dales;
- free Science Museum tote bag with accompanying entry to a competition to win a tour of the Flying Scotsman;
- free entry to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for the whole week;
- free entry to the Royal Shakespeare Company’s award-wining interactive exhibition, The Play's The Thing;
- a buy one get one free ticket offer to New Lanark World Heritage Site;
- free entry and a mince pie at Buxton Crescent Pump room;
- first 50 National Lottery ticket holders each day can redeem a ticket to the British Museum’s ‘Scythians: Warriors of Ancient Siberia’ exhibition; and
- free entry to the Natural History Museum’s Whales exhibition for the whole week.
