Decision: Award delivery grant of £497,189 (80%) to include grant uplift of £97,189 of total project costs.
SFF Grant increase applications
Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands LPS
Applicant: Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust
Project Summary: The partnership requests a grant increase to redress the impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and to enable the completion of its outdoor recreation and defence heritage projects. This would address the shortfall for the conservation of the unique and rare structure of a Second World War training dome, and to develop further outdoor recreation opportunities and so maximise outcomes and resilience. The grantee hopes the area will achieve UNESCO Biosphere status.
Decision: Award grant increase of £548,185 (79%) to make a total grant of £3,231,485, 79% of total project costs.
