In October 2019, the brand-new Silverstone Experience opened its doors to the public at the famous motor racing circuit.

Housed in a former Second World War RAF hangar, and seven years in the making, it allows visitors to journey through the history of motor sport and Silverstone’s fascinating heritage.

Watch this video to get a taste of the experience, with stories about illicit early racing and the only woman to win a Formula One race. You can also catch a glimpse of exhibits including original race stickers on a bedroom door.

The Silverstone Experience would not exist today if it weren’t for a £9.1m grant made possible by National Lottery players.

To say thank you, the fun-filled family attraction is taking part in the #ThanksToYou campaign that runs from 23 November until 1 December.

The Silverstone Experience is offering 1/3 off ticket prices every day until 1 December when you present a National Lottery ticket at the welcome desk.
