Exciting opportunities to join the HLF Committee for Northern Ireland

Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) offers grants for an incredible range of projects supporting heritage, learning, conservation and participation. Our goal is to reflect the vibrancy of the many different communities that have shaped Britain’s heritage.

Since 1994, HLF has invested £140million in the heritage of Northern Ireland, funding more than 1,000 projects, with awards ranging from hundreds to several million pounds.

We are now seeking to appoint three new Committee Members.

The committee makes decisions on grants between £50,000 and £1million. It also provides a perspective to the HLF Board on grant requests over £1million and on the funding priorities for Northern Ireland.

Members meet people involved in heritage projects, represent HLF at openings and events and act as an advocate for the value of heritage to modern life.

What we are looking for

We welcome interest from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences who can demonstrate that they can apply their skills to, and have enthusiasm for, the role.

For further information, or to complete an application, visit the HLF vacancy page. If you have a query email decisionmakers@hlf.org.uk or phone 020 7591 6014. Closing date for applications is Monday 16 May 2011.
