Archaeology and Economic Development conference in London
Leading archaeologists and heritage professionals from the USA, Europe, Latin America and Africa, as well as representatives of the World Monument Fund, ICAHM, Global Heritage Fund and the Sustainable Preservation Initiative and experts on the World Bank will address the role that archaeology and heritage can play in benefiting communities around the world.
The conference will be particularly of interest to archaeologists working in local communities, to government and NGO officials engaged in development projects, and to scholars of tourism and heritage studies interested in a broad practical and theoretical exchange.
