The Brockwell Park Lido has been repaired and its future at the heart of the local community assured.

The Cutty Sark conservation project has helped to save one of the world’s last surviving tea clippers and provided generations to come with a new way to engage with the ship and explore her history.

Our grant provided for building conservation, with an endowment to support the estate in opening the house and grounds to a wider audience, and providing learning activities.

Woking Museum Arts and Craft Centre, now known as The Lightbox, was conceived by a local community group in 1993 to establish a museum of Woking’s local and social history.

The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre on the Jurassic Coast has been extended, allowing more people to interact with the heritage of this World Heritage Site.

As part of a wider conservation project, Historic Royal Palaces is working with local disabled people to improve access to Kew Palace.

Wheal Martyn is home to the UK’s only china clay mining museum. A fully accredited museum, Wheal Martyn cares for and presents a collection of industry-related objects, machinery, photographs and archives.
