Funding
Our National Lottery Heritage Grants funding programme is open – if you have an idea for a project in London & South, we would love to hear from you. Grants are available from £10,000 up to £10m.

If you wish to visit us in person, please email or call us in advance to book an appointment.
The main entrance is on Dowgate Hill. A steep escalator takes you to the first floor, with upper floors all accessible by lift. There is an accessible, alternative entrance on Cousin Lane, which must be booked in advance. There are accessible toilets on the 4th and basement floors.

The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users and there are accessible toilets on every floor. There are also parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, which need to be booked in advance.

Vivekananda exhibition on ancient Indian civilisation
The project featured a structured programme of education and training to an exhibition which has toured outside London to mark the 150th anniversary of the great Hindu philosopher and visionary, Vivekananda.

This project saw the creation of a series of mini accessible and sensory-rich interpretation guides to the outdoor landscape of the clay trails in mid Cornwall.

As Weymouth Sailing Club reached its 100th anniversary, a group of volunteers undertook a project to celebrate and share local sailing heritage.

This project created an online database of records held by the British Red Cross on volunteers during the First World War.

Volunteers helped to create an audio-visual exhibition exploring local historical figure John Galsworthy’s role in the First World War and his legacy in Kingston.

Inspired by the stories of women who worked in Mustard Gas factories in Bristol during the First World War, local people researched this hidden history and performed a play.
