Funding
Our National Lottery Heritage Grants funding programme is open – if you have an idea for a project in London & South, we would love to hear from you. Grants are available from £10,000 up to £10m.

If you wish to visit us in person, please email or call us in advance to book an appointment.
The main entrance is on Dowgate Hill. A steep escalator takes you to the first floor, with upper floors all accessible by lift. There is an accessible, alternative entrance on Cousin Lane, which must be booked in advance. There are accessible toilets on the 4th and basement floors.

The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users and there are accessible toilets on every floor. There are also parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, which need to be booked in advance.

Saving Tyntesfield for the nation
Our grant provided for building conservation, with an endowment to support the estate in opening the house and grounds to a wider audience, and providing learning activities.

Falmouth Art Gallery has purchased John Opie’s 18th century painting The Cornish Beggar with the help of a £44,300 HLF grant.

Sharing stories of families and the community in Dorset during 1944 as they prepared for the D-Day landings in France.

The restoration of a rare set of chiming bells hung in 1925 in memory of 197 local heroes connected to the Memorial Community Church in Plaistow, London.
