Landscapes
Using money raised by National Lottery players, we distribute grants up to £10million to support heritage projects across the UK.
We want the projects we fund to show how they will address the key challenges faced by the UK's landscapes and nature.
What we expect from projects
Landscape projects must deliver one or more of the following requirements:
- conservation at a landscape scale
- increasing people's understanding of the cultural value of landscapes and seascapes
- bigger, better, well-connected and more resilient habitats for nature
- reconnecting people with nature

In July 2024, we announced £150million of long-term funding for the UK’s magnificent countryside in a new decade-long initiative, Landscape Connections. This groundbreaking initiative will fund projects that boost nature recovery, support our rural economies and connect more people to the UK’s most treasured landscapes.
