Funding
Our National Lottery Heritage Grants funding programme is open – if you have an idea for a project in London & South, we would love to hear from you. Grants are available from £10,000 up to £10m.

If you wish to visit us in person, please email or call us in advance to book an appointment.
The main entrance is on Dowgate Hill. A steep escalator takes you to the first floor, with upper floors all accessible by lift. There is an accessible, alternative entrance on Cousin Lane, which must be booked in advance. There are accessible toilets on the 4th and basement floors.

The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users and there are accessible toilets on every floor. There are also parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, which need to be booked in advance.

Wear it out: The culture and heritage of LGBTQ+ dress in Sussex, 1917-2017
This cultural heritage project explored how some people from LGBTQ+ communities have historically used clothing to express identity. It focused on Sussex in the time period 1917-2017.
