Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Lighthouse building in Glasgow was refurbished to create a Centre for Architecture and Design.

The Parkhead Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative was designed to help regenerate the former local town centre.

Forming the boundary between Scotland and England, the River Tweed provides a common thread to the natural, built and cultural heritage of the Borders as it meanders across 97 miles of scenic countryside.

The project focused on restoring the landscape of Tollcross Park in Glasgow.

The 19th-century tiled floor of Garnethill Synagogue was repaired by a specialist tiler working with a young apprentice, and is now enjoyed by all those who visit.

Many more people will have the opportunity to access the River Garnock’s natural beauty spots and experience the health benefits being outdoors can bring.
