Isabel originally trained as a surveyor with Jones Lang LaSalle, working in urban regeneration. She then moved into marketing and business development roles at Royal Mail Group, before joining the senior civil service working for the Home Office and Cabinet Office.
She is based at The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s office in Leeds and previously worked at executive level at the University of Leeds and NHS Digital.
Isabel has a particular interest in digital transformation, innovation, and in accessibility, diversity and inclusion. At NHS Digital she was the executive lead on diversity and was a member of the national NHS Equality and Diversity Council for four years. She is an experienced Board member having served on the Boards of Yorkshire Housing, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and Thackray Medical Museum.
Isabel has degrees from the universities of Birmingham and Reading, a Cranfield MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
