Project description: To create two community-led Tiny Forests on housing estate land in Bridgend County Borough. The project aims to enhance biodiversity, improve community wellbeing and mitigate climate change through carbon capture and green space creation.

Project description: This project aims to monitor, preserve, protect and grow local and endemic species, involving the local community in led projects for woodland management, agroforestry and sustainability. Funding will support the cost of the trees, planting, future seed harvesting and a community seed bank/ nursery. Through connections with local charities and organisations, people will use the site and become part of the regenerative project.

Llangybi Green Park Project

Project description: This project aims to improve community cohesion while increasing biodiversity through new facilities and environment. It will support local volunteers to create a learning environment where children can build insect hotels, hedgehog habitats and bird/bat boxes, be involved with the planting of trees and study the weather. The project will create opportunities for everyone to learn how to care for our natural environment.

Project description: The Coetir Bach project will allow the wildlife and flora of the location to be enhanced. It will create nesting and burrowing opportunities in a sustainable habitat that will form a legacy for the future.
