This project used heritage as a lens to engage a wider range of people, while developing skills in research, financial planning, personal care and wellbeing.

RoseTinted Financial Services developed a comprehensive programme of 12 workshops and events, in collaboration with heritage sites such as The New Art Gallery Walsall, Walsall Leather Museum, Walsall Council, and One Walsall.

I decided to create a service that would consider financial and mental health.

During the workshops, attendees had the opportunity to engage with historical paintings, delve into the rich cultural heritage of the community, and take part in environmentally sustainable printing activities set in green spaces. The professionals supporting on the project include curators and artists.

RoseTinted Financial Services also highlighted the contributions of female figures such as Sister Dora, who played a pivotal role in supporting the Walsall community during a pandemic in 1875.

By examining the struggles for equality and the triumphs of women both in the past and present, the organisation wanted to foster a sense of connection and solidarity among its participants.

A significant aspect of the programme involved the creation of practical tools and resources, such as financial planners, designed to assist women in acquiring vital skills and building their confidence in areas such as budgeting, salary negotiation, and setting ambitious financial goals which is crucial in light of the cost of living crisis.

Ebony Rebecca, CEO of RoseTinted Financial Services said: "RoseTinted was created when I decided to take control of my finances. I found information from debt charities useful, but lacking a personal approach. No one was aware of how low the financial mess I was in made me feel. I decided to create a service that would consider financial and mental health."

By combining financial education, artistic exploration, and a supportive community, RoseTinted Financial Services seeks to uplift women in Walsall, enabling them to overcome barriers, achieve financial independence and thrive in all aspects of their lives.
