Led by Liberal Judaism, this project recorded and showcased Jewish LGBTQ+ history from the 1950s to today.
The project involved recording interviews with members of the LGBTQ+ Jewish community, including men, women and transgender Jews who faced prejudice and rejection.
The materials are now being shared on the Rainbow Jews website, in booklets and educational resources. Project participants also shared their interviews and research in a touring exhibition, which took place during LGBT History Month in 2014. The exhibition included portrait photographs, activist materials and past publicity from Pride events.
