Heritage Grants
Dalby House is a Grade II listed Georgian property. It hosts Erewash Museum, a collection dedicated to the history of the house, as well as a photographic collection.

The grant was awarded to Erewash Borough Council to improve access, engagement and learning opportunities for visitors through the renovation of the Old Stables Learning and Visitor Centre. New learning spaces and an exhibition space have been created, while the Coach House has been turned into a volunteer-run tea room. A lift has been installed, and for visitors with restricted mobility, an interactive virtual tour was developed.
The project also includes funding for two new posts: a community development officer and a volunteer coordinator. As a result, over 40 active volunteers are now involved. An events programme to take the Museum won an award at the Derbyshire Heritage Awards in 2015.
