This three-year project recorded the oral histories of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland's LGBTQ+ communities, from before partial decriminalisation in 1967 to the present day.

Twenty volunteers received training in recording and editing oral histories. There were also a number of public events to engage the wider community, which took place during LGBT History Month in February.

The project launched with a display to attract new volunteers. This was further developed to create a touring exhibition following oral history research. The exhibition is now permanently on display at the Leicester Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Centre. A DVD was also produced, which has been deposited at Leicestershire Records Office and Media Archive for Central England.
