The Tunbridge Wells Grosvenor and Hilbert Park, designed in 1889 by Rupert Marnock, is one of the town's oldest parks and is being redeveloped to benefit the community and nature.

The main changes to the park include increasing the size of the Pavilion building, enhancing the facilities and creating opportunities for volunteering, enabling the community to participate and develop new skills.

The upgrading of the park also includes signage at the entrances to provide a welcoming arrival as well as the renovation and conservation of Marnock Lake. In addition, the teenage play zone near the Skate Park will be restored and extended.

As well as conserving the physical features, management skills and horticultural skills will be improved and five new apprentices assigned to work with the management team. The redevelopment will enhance the natural and social heritage at the park and provide opportunities for community involvement.
