The Cardinal O Fiaich Memorial Library and Archive (COFLA) is a historical resource based on the papers and interests of the late Cardinal Tomás Ó Fiaich.

The library contains some 250,000 documents, 30,000 books, 450 religious periodical titles, pamphlets, ephemera and photographs. The project planned to open up these historical resources to a much wider audience.

Key features of the programme included establishing a permanent exhibition at the library, designing and delivering an education outreach programme – beginning with the History of Gaelic Games in Northern Ireland; and the developing the library’s website. These programmes were designed to reach a wider audience and secure the longer term role of the library and the collections it houses.
