Funding for young people-focused heritage projects on the Isle of Wight

On Thursday 17 September, HLF is holding a free workshop at Quay Arts, Newport, for groups based on or near the Isle of Wight who would like to develop a heritage project involving young people.

  • Learn about how the Young Roots programme can support young people to engage with heritage through a grant of up to £50,000

  • Get top tips on what makes a good application

  • Learn what support is available from organisations

  • Arrange a one-to-one advice session to talk to HLF staff about your ideas

  • Meet officers from Arts Council England, Artswork and South East Museum Development Programme who can help you develop your project ideas

This event is open to museums, arts organisations, youth groups, schools, colleges, libraries, archives, historical societies and community groups who would like to support young people to engage with heritage.
