Attend our Heritage Together workshop: bringing partnerships together to make a difference
Have you thought of applying to HLF for a grant? Do you want to find out more about heritage organisations in your area, and who can help you to record and preserve your local history and heritage? Have you got an idea, but want to know more about how to make a grant application? If so, this workshop is for you.
HLF Wales will be holding a Heritage Together event at Glasdir in Llanrwst on the 8 March 2017 for participants wishing to apply for funding to deliver a heritage project.
We are running the session in partnership with Catalyst Cymru, Conwy Archive and Museum Services, Community and Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC), Conwy Communities First, People's Collection Wales and Conwy Rural Development Plan. Previous applicants will also be on hand to share their experiences with you.
These organisations will tell you more about their work and how they can help you with your project by providing expertise and advice, connecting you with experts, recommending resources, preservation of artefacts, sharing your project results and providing training.
The session will involve:
- Information on HLF grant programmes
- How to write a project plan
- First World War; then and now
- How to write a budget
- Other sources of funding (CVSC)
- How to use People's Collection Wales
- Presentation from Conwy Archive and Museum Service
- Presentation from Catalyst Cymru
- Presentation from Communities First
- Case Studies from previous applicants
One to one meetings can also be arranged with HLF, People's Collection Wales and Catalyst Cymru.
