From our coastlines and castles to our landscapes, literature and the oldest spoken language in Europe, Wales has an ancient and mythical heritage. It’s the land of rolling hillsides, historic ruins and an industrial heritage that once saw Welsh slate and coal being exported across the world.

Funding
National Lottery Heritage Grants
Our National Lottery Heritage Grants funding programme is open – if you have an idea for a project in Wales, we would love to hear from you. Grants are available from £10,000 up to £10m.

Local Places for Nature Capital Fund
A grant scheme helping communities in Wales to restore and enhance nature, offering grants between £10,000 and £250,000.

Nature Networks Fund (round four)
Awarding grants from £50,000 to £1million, this fund aims to strengthen the resilience of Wales’ network of protected land and marine sites.

We welcome telephone calls (Option 1 to speak to a member of staff in Welsh) and emails in both Welsh and English. Using Welsh will not lead to a delay in responding.

Visiting and access
If you wish to visit us in person, please email or call us in advance to book an appointment.
Access to the building is on a flat paved surface and there are both revolving and power-assisted doors. The entrance to reception is stepped with assistance handrails, and there is also a wheelchair-accessible platform lift. The office is located on the reception floor, and is accessible. There are accessible toilets in the building and passenger lifts to all floors.
