A key part of Glyn's work is using heritage to support community engagement – especially for young people – creating a sense of place and wellness.

For over 25 years, Glyn was involved with Hereford Cathedral as a trustee, volunteer and then Chief Executive of the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust.

During this time, a broad range of projects were developed and funded, building a sustainable funding stream and developing the Trust’s fundraising activities locally, regionally and internationally. Much of this has included increasing access to heritage, training and employing craftspeople and developing the cathedral’s education and cultural offer.

Glyn has been involved with a number of other organisations and committees, including the Three Counties Agricultural Society, the Three Choirs Festival and His Majesty’s Chapels Royal.

Glyn has a Herefordshire farming background and has always been passionate about the rural and farming community, having worked for the Young Farmers Clubs and on the family farm.
