Carole has over 30 years experience in the public sector and has held leadership positions in Camden, Ealing and Hackney Councils.

Her experience covers an extensive range of services for London’s communities, including the arts, culture, heritage and open spaces, community safety and regulatory services.

She believes in the power of communities to transform places and spaces and the rebalancing of resources to make this happen. Carole has brokered multiple partnerships to transfer cultural and heritage assets to community management and delivered a range of funding programmes to support charity and other not-for-profit organisations.

Carole has an MA in Arts Management from City University and was Associate Lecturer in arts policy and management on the MA Arts Policy and Management at Birkbeck, London University. She is a Trustee of Brixton House.
