The social benefits of involvement in heritage projects

We have looked at the social benefits of involvement in HLF projects through two different pieces of research.

The first three-year research study was carried out between 2005 and 2007, and involved a mix of interviews and case study reviews. New research started in 2008 that built on the results obtained through the earlier research, this used a more quantitative approach to assess the benefits for individuals of volunteering on HLF projects.
